Shawn Ryan, a regular writer for Angel and other programs, created this crime drama to challenge the mores of televised entertainment and to provide a heightened reality with increasingly complicated moral questions. Michael Chiklis stars as Vic Mackey, perhaps television's most no-nonsense detective. The entire second season (13 episodes) of the acclaimed show is presented here.DVD Features:Region 14-Disc SetFull Frame - 1.33Audio: Dolby Surround - EnglishAdditional Release Material:Disc One: Audio Commentary - 1.Quick Fix by Shawn Ryan - Creator, Michael Chiklis - Star, Benito Martinez - StarDisc Two: Audio Commentary - 1.Homewrecker by Shawn Ryan, Glenn Mazzara, Kurt Sutter, Scott Rosenbaum and Kim ClementsDisc Three: Audio Commentary - 1.Breakpoint by Shawn Ryan, Barbara Fiorentino and Rebecca MangieriDisc Four: Audio Commentary - 1.Dominoes Falling by Shawn Ryan, Kevin Reilly, and Eric Shrier 38 Deleted Scenes With an Introduction by Shawn Ryan Scene EvolutionConnie Gets Shot (With Audio Commentary) Featurettes 1.Wrap Day

With his use of non-actors and his loose use of documentary rules, Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami's (TASTE OF CHERRY) films can often be characterized by asking whether what the viewer is seeing is reality or fiction. The film which perhaps most exemplifies this is CLOSE-UP, ostensibly a documentary about an impostor of another Iranian director, Mohsen Makhmalbaf (GABBEH; ONCE UPON A TIME, CINEMA). Kiarostami tells the story by asking questions from off-screen to those involved in the legal case, then having the participants play themselves in a re-enactment of the events which actually occurred. A masterwork, considered by many to be Kiarostami's best.DVD FeaturesRegion 1Keep CaseAnamorphic Widescreen - 1.66Single Side - Dual LayerAdditional Release Material: Interview - 1.
